“A RAVER CAN BE ANYONE WHO ATTENDS AN ALL NIGHT PARTY CONSISTING OF DJs WHO PLAY ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC FREQUENTLY.”

The Ravers subculture started at Acid Houses were youth would take LSD while listening to music to enhance the drugs hallucinatory effects. British DJ powerhouses Paul Oakenfold, Danny Rampling and Nicky Holloway are given credit for helping to popularize the music and ethos of the early underground rave scene. Acid Houses later on transformed in to Raves. Law enforcements started shutting down these raves, but ravers begun (in the 90s) infiltrating in smaller towns across the world. Somehow underground raves still occur without being noticed.

FASHION

In the late 80s the new look consisted http-a-amz-mshcdn-com-wp-content-uploads-2014-11-ravers-land-1
in baggy and colorful clothing and by the mid-1990s, everyone was dressing like grade-school kids while in the early 2000 these ravers were wearing always less, from bras to pasties.
Lately the in the rave scene you can see anything.

Rave culture, then and now, remains fixated e443c9325ac72b857af85aa4669f2fbdon fantasy, on stepping out of everyday life. And that’s true whether you’re donning an XXL shirt, a Super Mario costume or a sequined bikini.
